If only my younger self could see my world now. Life has offered endless lessons and I know I’m just getting started. Doors close. Being told “no.” Having others not believe in your dream. Being let down. Having to say goodbye. Choose what you let into your heart and where you set your boundaries. Curiosity sparks growth. Don’t let that fizzle out. Share your dreams with only a few - for many won’t want to see it come to fruition. Protect your peace… and DREAM. Dream so big and write it down. Don’t beat yourself up if your dream changes. That’s not failure, that’s growth.Look at burnout as a self- check. Give yourself a day off, or two, or three. You have to fill your cup in order to pour into your passion and the ones who truly care for you. Don’t be quick to judge. We’re all going through a lot. I choose to focus on God, family, and my dogs. Not necessarily all in that order. Finally, don’t lose sight of gratitude. I fight this daily sometimes. Be grateful for the opportunities big and small and life. Waking up each day, calling a parent, getting coffee with a best friend. 😉 Life is about the JOY. 💓 ... See MoreSee Less

They gave her one look & the unthinkable happened!Pixie came on set today just to come along and get some sideline experience. She quickly became very comfortable and her natural eager self to play, learn, and cuddle.I am so excited to say that she has now had her official moment as a dog actor! The Benebone team asked if I would be willing to have her work with some of their dynamic chews in front of the camera. She was a natural! Although I must say she still has a little puppy brain and is very eager to do all the things - whether they are what I ask or not. 🤪 My goal today was that she would feel safe, confident, and eager for her new experiences. I feel that we were able to check all the boxes. Of course, the masters - Whidbey & Darby - brought their actions to life better than could’ve been expected from dogs. They endlessly blow me away with our bond and communication.Thank you Benebone - #1 Rated Dog Toys & Dognerd Animal Talent for these wonderful opportunities. Pixie the rescue pomchi dances at 6 months old. 🧚‍♀️ she is just learning the basics, but blossoming in her training and understanding! I have to go painfully slow sometimes to be sure that she focuses on me and doesn’t get too excited for the reward. She tends to want to bark and lose focus when she gets over excited, so we are working on calmness and relaxed attention.
