Life only continues to get sweeter with you by my side. Beasley is 12! He is doing so well after some scary moments earlier this year. Now he is thriving for being a senior boy. He does have arthritis and moves a bit slower, but his mind is sharp!Beasley loves his walks, rolling in the grass, and being a part of training sessions when he wants to. His favorite thing in the world is seeing people he knows and loves - he may even smile or sing for you! You have places to be, deadlines to meet, times to abide by… your trained high-stress nervous system gives you pressure to keep this walk moving. The reality is that you have a choice. Breathe. Teach yourself that you don’t have to rush. You can relax and you can let your dog sniff. For the dog, it’s his or her time for enrichment and exploration. Not worried about deadlines, to-dos, or agendas. He or she is just happy to be with you and teaching you how to live in the present.
